Klausen/Chiusa has direct access to the South Tyrolean bicycle path network, which will take you along the Eisack River and through the entire Wipp Valley and Eisack Valley. Families and professional bicycle racers are guaranteed unsurpassed bicycling fun.
This bicycle path network offers both many outstanding sights and scenes along the way and points of cultural interest. What's more, the paths are dotted with picturesque little rural inns and stops where you can pause for refreshments and get to know the culture of the Eisack Valley / Val d'Isarco even better.
If you're in especially good physical condition, you can by all means begin your uphill journey from here – all the way up into the mid-altitude mountains surrounding the villages of Feldthurns/Velturno, Villanders/Villandro, and Barbian/Barbiano – or up higher to the Villanders/Villandro Alpine Meadow or the Dolomites around Lajen/Laion.
