The autumn in the South Tyrolean mountain pastures is unique and it invites you to discover the country from a new perspective and to be inspired by the living culture. Discover the detailed programme: from exploring nature to getting to know mountain farming culture and handicraft traditions and culinary delights. And all this in some of the most beautiful regions of northern Italy: in Gitschberg Jochtal, Brixen, Klausen-Barbian-Feldthurns-Villanders, Natz-Schabs und Lüsen.
Get to know ancient traditions, experience the tranquility of the forest on the tracks of local wild animals or enjoy the sunrise or sunset on our alps - this and much more can be found in the weekly programme of the Alpine Tales amidst the magnificent South Tyrolean mountains. Who can participate? Basically everyone, at a fee of € 8.00 per event (unless otherwise stated). It is free of charge for all guests staying at an accommodation belonging to the Tourist Organizations Gitschberg Jochtal, Brixen, Klausen-Barbian-Feldthurns-Villanders, Natz-Schabs und Lüsen.
Autumnal cuisine at the huts
South Tyrolean cuisine has many little secrets. From 17th October to 7th November 2020 you can taste a selection of delicious autumn specialities directly in the huts on the beautiful hiking trails. Here are the participating huts in our area:
