Winter hikes in the Eisacktal Valley

Breathtaking moments in snow

If you want to discover snow-covered landscape away from the ski slopes and breathe some fresh winter air, we have a tip for you: Snowshoe or winter hiking in the Eisacktal valley!

Sparkling white peaks and forests line our mountain pasture landscape and invite you to enjoy some quiet and relaxing hours outside. Through knee-deep snow, past icy waterfalls, through endless winter landscapes... Allow yourself to become amazed by the uniqueness of the landscape and explore the winter on the mountain pastures Villanderer Alm, Feldthurner Alm, Latzfonser Alm and Barbianer Alm. Villnöss and the popular mountain pasture Seiser Alm are also not far away! Experienced mountain hikers and those who prefer a less challenging walk will get their money's worth, as the sparkling mountain landscape offers endless variety.

If your feet need a break, or if your stomach is rumbling, you will find what you are looking for in one of the huts along your way.
