The philosophy of the vineyards
The Isarco Valley provides the ideal conditions for white-wine grapes, and that's why the vineyard specialises in whites. Thanks to the exceptional quality of the grapes, and the exemplary methods of vinification, they are among the most sought after Alto Adige wines. Around 1 million bottles are produced per year in the modern cooperative in Klausen, the majority of which are classified as DOC (quality wine of guaranteed geographic authenticity). Since the cellar was founded, it has based its philosophy on two guiding principles: Regional typicality in the product line and international level quality in the vinification process. The elegance and the style of the wines express the leitmotif of the cellar: Quality without compromise!
Guided tours, tasting sessions and tasting options from June to mid of September every Tuesday and Friday at 2.30 pm or on request. Registration necessary.
Wine is our skill and our passion: that's why we would like to offer you the chance to enjoy a pleasant, uncomplicated tasting session of our quality wines.
Tasting or buying our choice wines in the new wine shop is a great delight. We present a selection for you to taste, set off by a beautiful, all-natural backdrop of wood and Brixen granite; features which you will find are mirrored in the vineyards of the Eisack Valley.
Under expert guidance, you will have the chance to taste some fabulous wines, receive information about our cellar, our wine-growing area, and our wines.
Together with our shop, we now have a historical trail where you can find out more about the wine-growing history of the area.
