Vera Überbacher paints with unexpected tools – a pine cone as a brush, a sponge for layered textures, bare hands for Der Sonnenuntergang. Her abstract works remain open to multiple interpretations. For her, being human means recognising the awareness that each of us thinks and feels differently. Painting, she says, makes her feel completely free.
