Our mountain pastures

A hikers' paradies

Boasting an incredible wealth of views and diversity, the seamless Alpine pastures stretching ever-upwards through the low-mountain ranges of Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns, Villanders are a true paradise for hikers.

To the south, the Villanders mountain pasture  with the Rittner Horn complete this hiker's paradise on the one side of the valley. The Villanders mountain pasture is the second-largest high-altitude meadow of South Tyrol. Verdant fields, moors, lakes, and rounded mountaintops reach up to 2,500 meters above sea-level. This hiker's paradise boasts many Alpine huts for the whole family and are open the whole year through.

To the north, the Latzfons Meadow and Lake Radlsee and the alpine hut of the same name round out our multi-facetted vacation region.
On the other side of the valley, high above the village of Lajen/Laion, the first massives of the Dolomites rise majestically, enticing more-ambitious hikers.
