The Hexagon

The organising association Hexagon bears the hexagon in its name. Its five main artists – Lukas Mayr (president and initiator of the Triennale Klausen), Patrick Obkircher, Christian Gufler, Florian Tschurtschenthaler, and Bernhard Reiterer – form the artistic foundation of the Triennale. The sixth element is the town of Klausen itself – at once place, stage, and participant, completing the hexagon. Each of the five develops a distinct, site-specific work at a fixed location in public space; the works remain accessible for five months, shaping the townscape throughout summer and autumn.
