Every South Tyrolean snack is based on bread specialities made in accordance with centuries-old recipes.

The choice of types of high quality bread is wide, from the Vinschger Paarl (typical rye bread rolls sold in pairs) to dry flat bread, Schüttelbrot, a traditional hard bread made from a mixture of rye and wheat flour, water, oil etc., to the white loaf and the Zelten, South Tyrol’s traditional fruit bread.
